Form or mini app?
When to use a form, when to use a mini app, and what changes between them.
Every Mikxx project starts as a form. A mini app is the same form presented like an app, with extra screens. You can switch at any time with the display menu in the builder.
Choose a form when
- People answer once and you're done: feedback, registrations, applications, enquiries.
- Everything fits in a few questions or a few named steps.
Choose a mini app when
- People browse something first: a menu, classes, rooms, products.
- Things fill up and should drop out when full, like classes with limited spots.
- Customers come back: they sign in with an email code and see their orders.
- Customers add their own entries, like reviews or their pets' details.
