What a mini app is
A form presented like an app, with lists to browse and customers who come back.
A mini app is a form presented like an app on a phone: a splash screen, one screen per step, a cart, a review and a receipt. It can also show lists customers browse, let them sign in, and keep their orders and entries. It's built from the same questions, design and settings as any form.
Turn a form into an app
- In the builder, choose App in the display menu, or
- ask the agent: "Turn this into a booking app".
Switch back at any time; the questions stay.
What an app has
| Part | What it does | Page |
|---|---|---|
| Splash and home | Your name, icon and a start button; shortcuts to each list. | |
| Screens | One step per screen, with a running total on paid forms. | Display modes |
| Lists | Records you manage (a menu, classes, rooms) that customers browse. | Lists |
| List and detail screens | Rows, cards or a grid, each record with its own screen, search and filters. | App screens |
| Choices from a list | A question whose options, prices and spots left come from a list. | Choices from a list |
| Bookings | Spots that fill up and free up. | Bookings |
| Customer sign-in | Sign in with an emailed code; see past orders. | Customer sign-in |
| Customer entries | Customers add records of their own: reviews, pets, addresses. | Customer entries |
| Linked lists | A class links its teacher; the teacher's screen lists their classes. | Linked lists |
Where you manage it
The form's page gets a Data tab for its lists. Orders and bookings arrive in Submissions like any response, with statuses you set (new, confirmed, done, cancelled).
